Dr. Matthew Roper
As a proud father of Five, Dr. Roper knows exactly how to care for the dental needs of your entire family. He believes in making children’s visits fun.
Dr. Roper feels strongly that dental care should be affordable. He will listen and recommend the right treatment that makes sense for your family. He will work with you and may recommend a phased treatment plan to take place over time. Ultimately, you will not be pushed into any treatment.
When he is away from the office, you will find him enjoying the great outdoors with his family, playing tennis, running, or cheering on the Arizona Cardinals!
Dr. Roper is a licensed general dentist and earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Utah University. He received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from A.T. Still University, right here in Mesa. In addition, he obtained his Certificate of Public Health from the University of North Carolina.
Lisa - Dental Assistant
Lisa was born and raised in Scottsdale AZ. She has two older children, a son who is 25, a car mechanic, and a 22-year-old daughter who recently graduated from Northern Arizona University with her biology degree. Lisa has been in the dental field for 23 years and is Dr. Roper’s lead assistant.
She has experience working in both the back and front office. She loves to help create healthy smiles and wants to make your dental visit as comfortable as possible. When she is not helping people with their smiles, she is taking classes to further herself in the dental field and enjoys getting together with family and friends, going hiking, and to the movies.
Marie - Office Manager
Marie is the office administrator and treatment coordinator for Ocotillo Trails Family Dentistry. She has been in the dental field for nearly 37 years and loves every minute of sharing her knowledge and skills to her many wonderful patients. Marie moved to AZ 19 years ago from a quaint little “nautical” town, Madison, CT with her 2 boys ages now 33 and 23. She loves the beach, boating and relaxing, and spending time at home. .Recently, moving to Peoria has not deterred her from being away from her “home-away-from-home” …Ocotillo Trails Family Dentistry

Diane - Dental Hygienist
Diane joined the Ocotillo Family in 2017 after relocating back to Arizona with her family. She attended Rio Salado College and obtained her Dental Hygiene degree in 2009.
She loves being a hygienist and enjoys building long-lasting relationships with her patients and educating them on good oral health. When she is not in the office she is at home with her husband, 2 daughters, and their English Lab, Ruger. She enjoys spending quality time with her family outdoors, camping, snowboarding, DIY crafts and Target runs.
Amie - Dental Hygienist
Amie is one of the hygienists at Ocotillo Trails Family Dentistry. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI, and raised in Battle Creek, MI. She moved to Mesa, AZ back in 2011 after graduating Hygiene School.
She loves being a dental hygienist. Along with help keeping her patient’s mouths healthy; she loves building relationships with them as well. In her spare time, she is busy raising her two young daughters, along with her husband. She loves to cook, read, watch movies, travel, and spend time with her family.
